One of country music’s most important voices - and most legendary figures - returns to The Mahaffey!
In a 55-year career that’s included 60 albums (10 of them chart-toppers), 16 No. 1 country songs and dozens of awards (including four Grammys, seven from the American Music Awards and eight from the Country Music Association), Loretta Lynn has sold more than 30 million records. She is the most-awarded woman in country music history.
Her best-selling memoir, Coal Miner’s Daughter, became an Oscar-winning motion picture in 1978.
Loretta published a second memoir, Still Woman Enough, in 2002. She was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the Kennedy Center in 2003, and the following year won two Grammy Awards for Van Lear Rose, a collaboration with rocker Jack White. Also in 2004, the Country Music Hall of Famer published a book of recipes and anecdotes titled You’re Cookin’ It Country.
In June of 2015, she was inducted into Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame.
