Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts welcomes our latest community partner, Arts Conservatory for Teens (ACT) as our second community art exhibit at Music + Musings.

Music + Musings is a celebration of the arts in our community hosted at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater, showcasing different community partners and arts organizations throughout the year in our Community Art Gallery. This upcoming installment will showcase the art, music, and entertainment of ACT students.

Their photo exhibition, Earth in Me, features artwork from Aiden McKahan, Artist-in-Residence for Photo Journalism, and ACT students. The exhibit is designed to draw focus to humanity’s impact and responsibility towards sustainability.

ACT offers training in the performing and visual arts to underserved teens in our community. ACT also works to empower artists with necessary entrepreneurial skills for a career in the performing arts.

ACT’s opening night exhibition will be on Thursday, September 22. It will remain on display for patrons attending any of this Fall’s performances.

A cash bar and complimentary appetizers will be available starting at 5:30pm.

Please RSVP to Sydney Lindell at or call (727) 300-2000.
